Who receives your message?
This website and contact form are operated by Ričards Bezbailis. For questions about your enquiry or personal data, contact bezbailisricards@inbox.lv.
What information is used?
The name, email address, message and optional phone number you provide. I also save the submission time, selected language and version of this notice. Please do not submit passwords, payment information or sensitive personal data.
Why is it needed?
To answer your question and discuss a possible website project. If you request a quote, I use the information to take steps at your request before a possible collaboration. Your details are not added to marketing lists.
Where is it stored?
Messages are stored in a private Cloudflare D1 database with EU data-storage jurisdiction. There is no public endpoint to read submissions. Access is restricted through the site owner’s Cloudflare account permissions. Email notifications for form submissions are not currently sent.
Spam protection
This form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address and browser signals during verification. Repeated submission attempts are limited; I do not save your IP address with the message. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
How long is information kept?
Messages in the application database are automatically deleted after 90 days. If a conversation continues through another channel, such as email, that correspondence is handled separately. You can request earlier deletion of your enquiry.
Your choices
You can contact me to request access to, correction of or deletion of your form submission. I may need to verify that the request comes from you to protect your information. Using the form is optional; you can also contact me directly by email.
Cookies and demos
The portfolio does not use marketing tracking. Turnstile runs a security check near the form. The Budgetly demo stores only demo transactions you enter in your browser; “Reset demo” clears changes. Do not enter real financial information into the demo.
Lawful bases
For steps you request towards a possible contract with you, the basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b). For general correspondence and enquiries from business representatives, the basis is Article 6(1)(f): the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Operating and protecting the site relies on the legitimate interest in maintaining a secure website. The form checkbox acknowledges this notice; it is not consent to advertising.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides hosting, the enquiry database and security services. Its infrastructure also processes technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps and browser information when you request pages. The database uses EU jurisdiction; this does not mean all Cloudflare technical processing is confined to the EU. For processing outside the EEA and applicable safeguards, see the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum and Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Direct email correspondence also involves the relevant email providers; the published address currently uses Inbox.lv.
Retention details
The 90-day period applies to form messages in the active database; the deletion task runs daily. Cloudflare D1 recovery history may retain earlier database states for up to a further 30 days, depending on the plan. Email correspondence is kept while needed to respond and handle related follow-up, after which its continued need is reviewed. Cloudflare service terms also govern retention of technical security data.
Your rights and complaints
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact the email above; requests are normally answered within one month. Complex requests may be extended under the statutory conditions, with notice to you. You may complain to Latvia’s Datu valsts inspekcija or the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.
Voluntary contact and automated checks
Contact is voluntary. The form requires a name, email, message and acknowledgement of this notice; a phone number is optional. The form cannot be submitted without its required fields. There are no solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you; automated security checks may reject a submission attempt. You can contact me by email instead.
Browser storage
Budgetly uses the localStorage key bezbailis-budgetly-demo-v1 solely to save demo transactions in this browser. Data persists after closing the tab; “Reset demo” restores sample data, while clearing site data in your browser removes it entirely. This storage is not used for advertising. No advertising pixels or optional analytics scripts have been added to this site. Cloudflare security mechanisms may use necessary technical storage; details are in the Cloudflare sources linked above.
